Developmental Services
Developmental Services Ontario (DSO)

If you are a youth under 18 with a developmental disability or have a child or youth in your care under the age of 18 who has a developmental disability, we are a good place to contact for Developmental Services.

Contact Niagara Resource Coordinators will help determine if you could benefit from resources offered by one of our Developmental Service Partners. The Resource Coordinator will guide you through an Intake Process to identify and document the information that is required for support to begin.

Transitional Aged Youth

Contact Niagara supports the youth with a developmental disability who are transitioning to adult services. Beginning at the age of 14, Contact Niagara, along with the community (caregivers, schools and service providers) identify youth who require this assistance. The youth and the community will develop a plan that will identify youth’s who require this assistance as they move into adulthood and the services available for adults.

For all questions or access to Adult Developmental Services, call Developmental Services Ontario Hamilton-Niagara Region. Please visit Developmental Services Ontario-Hamilton Niagara for more information.
